Today we went out to the garden spot at momma's and found some baby bunnies. I have never seen a tiny baby bunny before. They were maybe the size of the palm of my hand. :)
Yesterday was one of those really good days--but a day where I felt that I was being stretched. Here's the story...I am pretty much "an island"--if something is going on with me I don't want you to be around me. I would rather you leave me alone and I'll come around when I am good and ready. (suprising! I know!) Anyway--I have always just lived under the idea that everyone was that way. I can't imagine inviting people into my "stuff." I am finding that this is not the case! (suprising! Again! I know!) SO...a friend asked me to go with her to the doctor's office when she had a procedure done. What a leap it was to ask me to go...and amazingly I jumped and went. I had this incredible peace that everything was going to be fine. I arrived early and was a little nervous that I was at the wrong place--so I went in and just sat and waited. The office person offered to help me--I told her what I was there for and that I would just wait. So I did. I waited. Quietly. When she and her hubby arrived, the doctor was ready and took her right back--so I sat with him in the waiting room and made small talk. I am not really a small talk kind of girl. I usually bring my soap box and climb on it and that's all she wrote. I didn't do that this time. We politely talked about summer plans, work and trips we have taken or would like to take. Not exactly sure how long we sat, but it seemed like a very short while, I am sure that it was more like an hour. When my friend came out--she was relieved. Nothing notable from the procedure! GO GOD! to quote my pal KJ! But in that short amount of time I felt like I had grown up. I do have the ability to connect. I do have the ability to just "be present." There are people who WANT me to "be present." I think that is the most amazing thing that I learned--that people WANT my presence. Island Camille has to go--I guess I have to drift towards people. Wish me luck! I am gonna grow up!

bizzy bizzy bizzy!
That is what it has been the last few days "BIZZY BIZZY BIZZY!" (when you say that to yourself think of Mr. Hienkle the magician in frosty the snowman) I haven't had much to do, yet somehow I have managed to fill my days up! I am not ready for May to be over! I need more time!
Life on the other side of the school year...My friend at work gave me a wonderful gift--a cd of all these wonderful songs on it that we have sung together for the past few years. I don't mean like normal songs--I mean country rockabilly songs that normal people don't sing anymore. I listened to it all the way thru finally today--and I laughed and I cried and then I laughed some more. It's hard not to laugh when you have songs like "hey good looking" and "I got the horse (and she got the saddle)" mixed in with "Suspiscious Minds" and "Pancho and Lefty." I told her just about every day this year that "she completes me"...and that really isn't far off from the truth. She can complete my sentences...we say the same things at the same time...we like the same music (obviously). I am going to miss that companionship and comradere in the day to day.
I don't really know what life is going to be like on the other side of the school year. I am sure that it is going to be wonderful and I don't know what the future holds, but I surely do know who holds the future. It's just an odd place to be. I have always been a planner and had a map plotted out of what the next step would be--even if I told you I was flying by the seat of my pants, I knew what I was doing. Not anymore. All bets are off. I am working without a net. And as strange as it feels, I am not scared. Something in me changed over Easter. I finally got strong. I finally let go of a lot of things and people and situations. I let go of that which I have been holding on to for way too long. Peace is what is left. That's all I feel. I know that I have made the decision I was supposed to make. I got confirmation today...Deuteronomy 1:6 was given to me..."you have stayed long enough at this mountain." I don't want to be guilty of lagging behind or rushing ahead. I want to go where I am appointed to go when I am appointed to go there. and having said that I guess I need to remember that sometimes "bizzy, bizzy, bizzy" has no place where I am going.
My next journey is to (attempt) read thru the bible in 90 days. My friend Mrs. T is going to start reading thru the bible on June 1st using the 90 day plan. I have no idea that I can read thru it that quickly, but I am going to try. Join me if you will. I am sure that we will learn something about ourselves if we commit to doing it.
Well--time to move on to some other glamorous task like Laundry! The work of the queen is never done you know!

My eyes are leaking...
So today was just this day when my eyes started leaking!! It's really rather odd--I am not normally a person that leaks from the vision receptors--but it's been a heck of a ride the last couple of months and I just couldn't stop it anymore. I thought I got it all out--and then I would read something or someone would say something and I spring a leak all over again.
Maybe one day I will figure it all out--but it sure isn't going to be today--and chances are that tomorrow isn't going to look so good either.
Shout out to all my followers--all ONE of you at this point--I promise one day there will be something on here that you want to read. If you have spent much time with me at all, you know that you can't ever be to sure what is gonna pop out of my pretty little mouth. Some days it may be really deep and profound. Other days it may be random--but whatever the case, it is ALWAYS ALWAYS interesting!

Threatened to start a blog and now I have, but I don't know what to say. Never fear friends...my lack of something to say usually doesn't last very long!
